These materials support a hands-on lesson on reproducing a clinical machine-learning study with Orange Data Mining. They include notebook slides, prepared teaching datasets, student and teacher workflows, and scripts and results for the exercises.
The session covers EHR-derived tabular data, missingness, class imbalance, visual machine-learning workflows, and diagnostic metrics. I delivered it at the BioMET ‘26 pre-conference workshop on clinical AI at Vellore Institute of Technology.
